Synopsis

This charming series views the world from the inquisitive eye of a child; each book addresses a question that could baffle many a parent. A perfect series for bedtime reading.

Jack is a cheery boy who lives on a street of cheerful old houses in sunny Singapore. One day, Jack arrives home from school upset. At first, he won’t say why. ‘What's the matter?’ Mama asks. ‘Why am I alone?’ Jack says. Mama’s replies to this sensitive topic are surprising and warm, and sure to put a smile on any child’s face.

‘I love her series. The illustration is very pretty and attractive…The story is very meaningful and it teaches children things we don’t really touch on.’
